Lloyd’s List takes another step forward in its online publishing strategy, unveiling the ePaper, a fully featured digital edition, available to subscribers and new readers on a 'pay as you go'.

The ePaper replicates the newspaper pages, allowing subscribers to get the same experience as readers of the newspaper edition. But it also offers additional functionality, including the ability to email and print stories and to save them to a clippings folder, enabling readers to compile their own limited archive of Lloyd’s List content.

Following strong market demand for its world-leading AIS service Lloyd’s MIU has launched AIS Lite and AIS Free.

AIS Lite provides access to the largest AIS network in the world. With over 418 AIS receivers deployed across 100 countries AIS Lite has live coverage of over 6,900 ports and terminals. Publishing over a billion AIS positions per month, from 60,000 vessels, the service provides a live window on the world’s trading fleet.

Lloyd’s MIU is pleased to announce that it has launched a free maritime statistics section on www.lloydsmiu.com.

The new online resource is powered by the world’s largest marine database and provides key industry information on vessels, companies, ports, casualties and port state control.
